Wild in our Town

This popular education program is back! Get the chance to see and touch real wildlife displays and learn about local wildlife at this annual public program. Natural resource staff and law enforcement representatives from the Town of Castle Rock, Douglas County Open Space, Colorado Parks and Wildlife and the Rocky Mountain Wildlife Alliance will provide interesting wildlife facts and answer questions about coyotes, bears, deer, mountain lions, bobcats, rattlesnakes, prairie dogs, beavers, turkeys and other native wildlife. Tips will include how to avoid human-wildlife conflicts and how to watch wildlife in a responsible manner. Free and open to all ages.
