CSP walks back claim driver in New Year’s Day double fatal crash on U.S. 36 fell asleep at the wheel

State patrol officials previously said that Joshua Gilson of Castle Rock fell asleep while driving north on U.S. 36 and crashed. Now, investigators are saying the cause of the crash is still unknown.
